It may include the Spring 2011 issue, which has focus articles on bathtubs, including the '49 golden Anniversary gold paint ones.

What a great find! The bathtubs really are an under appreciated gem in the marques history. That two tone silver and navy on the top left is a stunner.

I found this because I was looking for reasonably definitive info on Golden Anniversary ones, and one of the guys writing an article for the Spring '11 issue posted something on a forum. The gold paint ones don't seem to have decent pics on the internet *anywhere*.

Any particular reason you are looking at the Golden Anniversary cars? Just interested or thinking about buying one in the future?

Well, not *particularly*. I was mostly looking them up so I could be correct on the points when recommending them for the front page'd special editions article. They absolutely weren't listed yet. If I get a bathtub, I'd still want a cormorant mascot of some kind, though having a Golden Anniversary ornament to swap wouldn't kill me.

Oh you are talking about the anniversary article? Yeah good catch realizing that the Packard Bathtub was missing I wouldn't even have thought of it.
If you do get a bathtub a cormorant mascot is a must. It adds a huge degree of prestige to the car.
